Contact Lenses

Contact lenses are the preferred option for those who do not want to wear glasses, as well as those with conditions that require treatment .

Frame Collections

There are clear rules for fitting glasses: the frame has to be strong and fit the facial features, the lens must cover the patient's entire field of vision and more.

Lazy-Eye Treatment

Lazy eye (amblyopia) is a condition in which an apparently healthy eye fails to achieve normal vision quality.

Optometry Exams

In order to fit the glasses precisely, you need sophisticated equipment and an Optometrist with knowledge and a lot of experience.

On-Site Optics Lab

C-Care Optics has one of the most advanced and sophisticated laboratories in Israel. Glasses for distance, reading, and computer can be made in a few minutes.

Multifocal Fittings

Fitting multifocal lenses require individual adjustments and detail-oriented care. Success and smooth adaptation can be achieved with the help of a certified Optometrist.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you fit Multifocal lenses?
It is important to note that fitting multifocal lenses have determining factors for success and adaptation; if you are careful you will have an easy and comfortable one, the following are the factors:
* The willingness of the patient, his occupation, age, background and eye diseases are important factors for the success of multifocal.
* A professional and comprehensive examination that includes determining an accurate prescription.
* The quality of the lenses, the technology invested in the lens; a wide or narrow channel, the type of coatings, the level of finishing of the lens, the transitions between distance and reading  important factors for a successful adjustment.
* The markings of the center of the pupil in relation to the eyepiece of the glasses, if there is a deviation in the center of the lens in front of the center of the pupil, it will make adaptation difficult or even impossible.
* The cutting of the lenses in the frame - if the lens sat with a slight deviation as a result of unprofessional cutting, this causes great difficulty in adapting to the multifocal.
How do you treat Lazy-Eye Syndrome?
Lazy eye is a visual impairment resulting from poor development of the visual system in the brain. That is, the anatomy of the eye is normal but the vision is defective due to insufficient or insufficient visual stimulation during early childhood.
When the center of vision of children does not receive a clear image from both eyes, a preference for one eye may arise - and thus the neglect of the other.
2%-5% of the population suffer from this phenomenon and it has various factors:
- Poor quality of vision in one or both eyes.
- Strabismus that causes the development of a preference of one eye over the other.
- Obstruction of the visual axis of the eye (for example drooping eyelid, cataract or turbidity of the cornea).
Treatment:
The initial treatment of the lazy eye requires the correction of the visual impairment that caused the lack of vision development (by glasses, contact lenses, strabismus correction, poor surgery). If the results are not satisfactory, it is necessary to consider a situation in which we "strengthen" the lazy eye. This involves covering or blurring the vision in the good eye, all this to serve the lazy eye so that the areas of the brain that belong to the lazy eye will experience quality and concentrated visual stimulation and will develop properly.
The patch treatment is very effective and fast compared to the treatment by blurring (half the time), also there are no cosmetic effects, glare and general physical effects as in blurring by drops, the main disadvantage is the child's lack of cooperation. The patch treatment should be started gradually and in front of a quality visual stimulus that the child prefers (watching TV or a computer) and stick only around the eye - on the skin and not on the glasses. The closing hours must be observed because the younger the child, the more successful the treatment results.

What is the Dry-Eye Syndrome?
Dry eyes are caused by improper production of tears - in terms of their quality or quantity.
Dryness can also be caused by a bad positioning of the eyelids on the eye, which impairs their ability to shade it. All of these may cause Eye pain and tiredness, burning sensations, sensitivity to light, red eyes and even blurred vision.
The most common treatment for dryness is eye drops. In addition, it is recommended to drink more, use sunglasses and avoid using contact lenses.
In severe cases, various ointments and gels are used, as well as anti-inflammatory substances. More aggressive treatments such as surgery or blockage of the tear ducts are also possible, but we will try to avoid them if possible.
What are Photochromic Lenses?
Color changing lenses or photochromic lenses, change their color depending on the surrounding lighting conditions.
When the lenses are exposed to UV radiation, the molecules in the lens change their composition and the lens takes on a darker shade. The lens returns to normal when its exposure to radiation is stopped or decreased.
Advantages: The lenses "work for you". The degree of darkening depends on the intensity of the light and they provide constant and adaptive protection for your eyes. In addition, the lenses filter 100% of the UV rays and are a convenient alternative to using two frames. Photochromic lenses work even on cloudy days, since the UV rays penetrate clouds.
Disadvantages: The darkening of the lenses often depends on the temperature, which may interfere with their proper operation in cold weather. In addition, most lenses are not equipped with technology that allows them to work properly inside the vehicle, since the windshield blocks UV rays.
If you are in the sun a lot or in changing conditions, color changing lenses can suit you. Today, many lenses make use of technologies that allow them to operate properly in a car and in cold conditions, which takes care of their main shortcomings and makes them very attractive.
Due to these advantages and thanks to the unique appearance of the lenses, many replace their frames with color changing frames.
How to Protect your Eyes When Wearing Contact Lenses?
Today, thanks to advanced technology, contact lenses have become the best alternative to glasses or lasers.
The type of contact lenses, age, occupation and the condition of the eyes are important factors that greatly influence the success of the fitting. Also, the quality of the fit depends, essentially, on the optometrist and his experience. Having an annual or semi-annual examination by a qualified optometrist contributes to the adjustment of the lens and its change over time, and is an essential component for maintaining healthy eyes.
